CONGRATULATIONS TO NICCOWinning Best of Breed/Grand Victor/Select #1 Dog at the National Show of the White German Shepherd Dog Club International in Oklahoma on June 27, 2010Nicco was the top dog at the WGSDCII National Show. Nicco's calm and friendly temperament has garnered praise from judges and spectators alike in the many shows and competitions in which he's participated. But, everybody absolutely marveled at his regal demeanor when 18-month-old Kennedy Lessler walked him around the ring as perhaps the youngest Junior Handler in WGSDCII history. Kennedy is the granddaughter of Nicco's owner, Linda Lessler. (Photos of the show to follow.) |
Congratulations to Nicco, who earned his United Kennel Club (UKC) Championship on 5/16/10 in one weekend!
Nicco earned the first leg toward his AKC Rally Advanced title on 8/7/10 at the Blue Ridge Dog Training Club in Berryville, VA.

Nicco, at home, after winning his APDT Rally Level 1 Title in April 2009, at the age of 16 months. Nicco went on to earn his APDT Rally Level 2 Title in August 2009, and earned his AKC Rally Novice title on November 28, 2009. Watch video of our AKC Rally Novice title run on YouTube. Then, just after his second birthday, Nicco won his APDT Rally Level 1 Championship on a weekend when he achieved a perfect score of 210. A video of this perfect score run is also on YouTube. Nicco has the perfect temperament to become a therapy dog, and we hope to get him certified as such in the near future. |

Weekend in Carrollton, TX. On Friday, 6/26/2009 at the Oklahoma Chapter Show he won Winners Dog and Best of Winners. At the Texas Metro Chapter Show, he won Winners Dog. On Saturday, 6/27/2009, at the Texas Metro Chapter Show, he won Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed. At the Heartland Chapter Show he won Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite Sex. |

Bridget earned her WGSDCII Championship at the National

These are our new kids - Nigerian Dwarf baby goats. They are still being bottle-fed.We thought we might try having the dogs herd them, but really, the reason we are getting them is because they are just so darn cute. (Don't tell the IRS, or we won't be able to deduct them) Oh, and goats eat weeds -- something we have plenty of. |
